Hi,
I am 51 yrs old and have had fibro for about 10 years.

I had a great general physician, but he moved too far away. I changed to an internist - he is nice but over-worked and hard to see.

I had a rheumy, but his staff was rude so I left. I have tried four other rheumies and then gave up on that field all together. My internist says I need one and I tried to go back to the one I had been seeing. He turned me down since I wrote a letter of complaint about the office staff.

Now, I am connected to that business in another way. One of the partners of the practice (the what has his name first on the name of the practice) is the founder of the school my sons go to.

When the office mgr called to tell me to try a different doc (a doc that told me he believes in FMS the way he believes in the tooth fairy). So after checking to make sure he was the doc I thought it was - I called back and left her a message explaining that I had seen that doc and others and that is when I gave up on rheumies.

I am depressed. It has been a tough week of battles on many fronts and I have had two days where I am too painful to stand myself and have actually cried for hours. I am not a sissy and I don't usually even show my pain to anyone. I may be too stoic and that may be a sin of pride, but I usually don't exhibit this kind of behavior.

Aren't you glad I signed up?

Need help getting a rheumy in Greater Cinti or Northern KY
