My name is Martin Sisneros and when I was 19 years old I had a severe case of Guillain Barre Syndrome in August of 1981 (27 years ago) while in Basic Training in the US Army in Fort Leonard wood Missouri. I was given some type of vaccine that the Army denies. I started severe vomiting within 12 hours and numbness and tingling sensation within 15 hours. I was totally paralyzed in 5 days. Martin, my name is Richard Ross, we have almost the same story, I was 18 in 1980 when I was diagnosed with GBS, I still suffer from shaking, weakness, cramps and muscle spazms 28 years later. It is very frustrating at times. Thank you for telling your story.
