Melanie,
Glad to hear you are doing well. I was diagnosed with GBS on Nov 16, 07'. I was in the hospital for a week and had the IVIG. I too walk out of the hospital without any assistance, but very funny thing happened after I got home. I was still very stiff / sore from the spinal tap blood patch. But within about 3 weeks, my feet started to feel like lead weights. My fingers began to tingle. My neurologist tells me it is normal, and it is just the nerves regenerating. I sincerely hope you have a complete recovery. Hang tuff, because everything I have read, everyone I have talked too, and my own experience, it takes a long time to recover.

Good Luck and Take Care
Frank B.
