Re: Mom Of An AngelMy niece started with some odd symptoms after febral seizures when she was 11 months old. At age 3 she developed pneumonia which left her unable to walk & a lazy eye. She has had 3 other episodes of pneumonia and is now age 11...all which have left her with unexplained neurological symptoms. At this point she has a "slap" to her walk & has poor bladder control & function. They have been to several of the supposedly "top" neurologist & immuniologists...all who say "there is nothing wrong with her...we have no answers"...how did you get your diagnosis, where did you go...what did they do to get the diagnosis & could you elaborate on any signs & symptoms experienced by your child?? This has been at least 9 years of h*** for my sister with NO answers & NO sympathy whatsoever by the medical profession. They have been to Minnesota down in the twin cities 3 times....any help would be amazing & so appreciated!
Re: Mom Of An AngelMy 2 year old daugther was diagnosed with GBS a week ago. She is getting weaker every day, her legs and hip move like a Jello, so far she is still walking if i'm holding her, also a few days ago she is mentioning some "itching" on her hands and fingers
We believe GBE is on her 3rd week right now. Please, if some one has some tips or advises i will apreciate them. THANKS!!! Antonela
