my son Joey

(He never complains even when he is sick) My first thought was that he might have a spinal injury, so I asked him if he had jumped or fallen and he said no. I made a Dr. appt for the next day. He told the Dr. that only the back of his knees still hurt. She examined him and said he did have an ear infection and sent us home with an antibiotic.

10 years old! I'm amazed at how brave your son was...I'm sure your very proud. I was so worried when we found out that my 20 year old boyfriend had it. I kept thinking he's 20, 'this can't be happening to him'. You're story has really inspired me and given me hope. Thank you for posting this story.
