Post a new topicby Guest on Tue Apr 12, 2005 1:39 pm

I am a 32 YO female, I started with tingling from elbows to finger tips, knees to toes, more pronounced on the left side, and around my mouth Christmas Day, along with this also came what seemed to be a flu-like virus that lasted for a few days. I also experience shaking in my hands when I get tired. My docs have told me that it is more likely a virus and have deemed it peripheral neuropathy that should go away in time. I am taking Neurontin 100mg for the tingling but still get a bit shakey from time to time and am tingly but getting used to it. I suggested quite some time ago it was GBS but they dismissed it. I also had surgery Oct 04 for my appenix if that is relative, but they didn't see a correlation. I have had MRI's on my brain and spine to reveal no degeneration of the myelin along with Lyme titer's, thyroid functions, diabetes, etc. I am scheduled for an EMG and Nerve function test May 4th but would like some input before my next appt. I am frustrated that my docs Any suggestions more than welcome :)
