hormonal migraine and how to stop them?

Post a new topicby getfit on Thu Mar 26, 2009 11:05 am

Anyone ever get migraines, or what I call a migraine around that time of the month? It's always in the right side of head around my eye, and the back of my neck. The only thing that helps is to lie down in a dark room, squeeze my head and fall alseep. Of course now I'm at work and can't do that, so I'm typing with one eye closed.
I do feel nauseaus with these headaches too. What do you about them? I've tried ibuprofen, I've tried Tylenol, I've tried cold medicine (not all today of course, these have been at different times I've experienced these headaches) None of these OTC meds touch it, not even a little bit.

I have a Dr. Appt today finally, but in the mean time I sit here with one eye closed and can't go home due to meetings this afternoon after my appt. Any suggestions?
