My name is Donna I have been suffering from Migranes as far back as I can remember I am 38 yrs old. I am taking Imtrex in injection m it does do trick. I do find my headaches past 2 yrs happens during or around my menstral cycle so at least once or more a month I am sure of getting a migrane. I wondering if re is anything I can take or do or take to lessen .I am greatful I no longer have ones last a week I would really like to get rid of m completely or at least more under control. Can help me?

It sounds like things are going generally well for you. If the headaches were very frequent, taking a daily preventative medication may be a good idea. However, with headaches relatively infrequently (one or two times a month) and with a good response to Imitrex, medication at the time of the headache is probably the best form of treatment. There are other medications in addition to Imitrex that can be helpful that your doctor could prescribe if needed.
