I have a rare case of bilateral HFS, both of which developed very rapidly. I had left eyelid twitching in March 2007 that rapidly progressed to full-face tonus in July. Because of a commitment to an academic calendar, I was not able to have surgery until December 2007. Meanwhile, I started having twitching and spasms in my right eye.
