Hemifacial Spasm

I am a 27 yr old female. Diagnosed in 6-07 with HFS. I have been taking anti seizure and nerve meds. I have has 3 botox sessions. Some relief but not completely. I wish that there was something simpler than MVD to cure the spasms. Anyone have any adivce?

Hi, Mandy,

HFS is tough, because most oral meds don't work for most people. That leaves Botox and MVD surgery. I have had bilateral HFS, and have had surgeries on both sides. So feel free to ask me anything you want.
