post op MVD surgery

I have been living with HFS for over 10 years now. Been on Botox for about 6 years. I’m writing this from my hospital bed 5 days after having MVD. I awoke from the surgery with a screaming headache and vomiting. Morphine was increased. I suffered from nausea. 5 days after MVD I’m still on medication for pain and nausea. Yes, you are only a couple weeks postop. Lots of folks take 6-12 months to heal and for spasms to disappear. Hang in there, and keep your hopes up!
