First May God Bless you for being able to Assist with providing a home and assisting this HD patient. My mother has the disease and has developed schizophrenia, paranoia and many other symptoms. She does not want anything to do with me anymore. I wish I could provide care for her, but I fear their is nothing to do for her, because she absolutely hates me. I am just so happy for you, because you still seem to have a relationship with your friends father. That is great, keep up the great work, because it is not easy.
