Huntington's Disease

I am 20 years old my grandfather just passed in jan of 09 from huntington and his mother also passed from it. I am debating on whether i should get tested or not. its very hard for me because i have an aunt that has it but my dad is almost 40 and doesn’t show any signs, but i twitch once and a while i am always fidgety. i dont know what i should do.

Thanks for sharing - I know it is hard. My husband's father has Huntington's and has has it for 25 years. My hubbie and I decided to go through with the testing for the same reasons as what you are feeling now and as it turns out - my hubbie does not have it. Personally - we would rather know so we could prepare. I hope that helps and do not hesitate to write back if you need any support.
