My Mor n Law I take c has HD Lately she has been having trouble her bowel movements. She can't go out use of a laxative lately hasn't been too successful eir. Does HD affect se such things? If so or types of problems will she have like . I guess should know she is in her sixties has had HD roughly 10 years or more. Thanks r help.

Thank you for your question. HD does not involve bowel function in a primary way, but many people with chronic medical disorders experience constipation. You should speak with her physicians, as there are other good alternatives to laxative use.
