Re: Huntington's DiseaseThere are many neurotransmitter changes in HD, including the catecholamines such as dopamine; changes in what are known as cholinergic and gabaergic and enkephalin systems occur, with the different findings (such as the chorea=increased movements a result of inhibition of some systems and excitation of others.
