My grandson had headaches in the back of his head for about a year before he recieved a diagnosis of Chari Type 1 , not enough room for the spinal fluid to get up to his brain. At age 13 , he had surgery to correct this malformation. In the weeks following ,he had two more surgeries to relieve swelling from the spinal fluid because now he had excess fluid around his brain.
