I need helpMy 55 year old mother was just recently diagnosed with NPH. The neurosurgeon told her that her condition is too severe to treat. Now we are left with alot of questions the doctor didn't have answers for. He said that he has never seen a case like hers and is surprised she is functionable. She already has significant damage to her brain according to her MRI Does anyone have any information about what we can expect or any type of prognosis. I have not found any information about untreated hydrocephealus and it's prognosis. Nor what we should expect. I am desperate.
