Post a new topicby buffum4 on Sat Jul 04, 2009 11:26 am

I am a 35 year old (active duty personal) serving in the united states navy other wise healthy, and a couple months ago I woke up with uncontrollable movements, they said it was a ischemic stroke and now I have diagnosed with Mycolonus (which I think is wrong) I due have the tremors just on the left side from the shoulders down, but other symptons are starting to occur for example the muscle between the knee all the way up to the hip seems to be seizing up, and i am in extreme pain, they have given me klonopins and baclofin, but they do nothing for me but the "movemernts" have died down somewhat, but walking is unbearable, is this part of the disease or should i attempt to talk to my doctor (btw is chinese and has braces) really REALLLY hard to understand him!!!! i just go day to day with this crap.... and i have to take more than prescibed on the medications for the "release" of that muscle..in my left left... any suggestions i am so flusterated and aggrivated!!!!
Please help with any suggestions or ANYTHING....

I'm really sorry to hear of your troubles. First I'd like to thank you for your service! My son just left for USMC Boot Camp and his best friend is a new MP for the Navy.

I'm wondering if you can get a new doctor!?!?!? You HAVE to be able to have one you can converse with at least!!! You need more testing! Get back in there and be proactive..... you're the only one you've got to help you and you NEED it to get this properly diagnosed and treated!!

Good luck. Come back and update!
