My dad suffers from periodic paralysis and I also have muscle stiffness and movement troubles. I would love to know if we have the same condition or if I am going to pass down something similar. We have no family medical history to speak of and all attempts to contact our biological relatives have met with a dead end. I would love to hear from other families or individuals who have this or similar disorders so I will have a better idea what is normal for us and how to best go about getting treatment for our symptoms.
