I am new to this board...I have read most postings and wanted to ask you all some questions if you dont mind.
First, have any that have MS ever been misdiagnosed with something else before finding out it was MS? I have a muscle disease (form of muscular dystrophy) but testing for anything else was never done. This was 10 yrs ago. I think maybe I have had MS all these years and no one caught it. I know I need an MRI but cant seem to get anyone to listen to me and my concerns.
Second, has anyone ever suggested a different condition that would mimik (be the same w/ symptoms) as MS? I dont want to have this condition, but would be very happy and relieved to at least have a diagnosis, and not have doctors think I'm a hypochondriac, and tell me its all in my head.
