Diagnosed with MS -I've been diagnosed MS based on symptom of numbness in left arm brain MRI results. VEP neuro exam were normal. I recently read an article indicated sensory problems tend to be related to lesions on spinal cord where dizziness / balance would be more related to brain lesions. Do believe numbness could be a symptom related to brain lesions. Thanks r time.
Re: Diagnosed with MS -It is good that you are education your self about MS. Sensory symptoms can occur as a result in lesions in the brain. This is in the case of MS, as well as other disorders (such as stroke, tumors etc). Sensory pathways and structures in the brain can be affected by demyelination. Hopefully you are making decision about treatment. I wish you good health.
