having problems with physician

Post a new topicby Guest on Sun Dec 14, 2003 7:43 am

I went to my primary care doctor for evaluation of my previously mentioned problems. I have been referred to a neurologist but can't seem to get in to one until possibly March. The physician's nurse was supposed to call me back and let me know if she could get me in sooner. I seem to be getting pushed aside and still continue to have problems. I am not wanting to go to E.R. but it seems like that is the only way to get an answer to my problems. Any information would be appreciated.

Hello! The Doctor is working for you, so you have the final word. However the Doctor is a professional that is what you are buying.(you are looking for and need him- he is not searching for you!) The doctor should be explaining everything to you. The time spent in medical school was for a reason. There is a finite number of doctors, so you just want the best one for you!
