Re: Living with Myasthenia GravisCongrats on being able to live your life, this passage was very inspirational.
However, for some people Myasthenia Gravis is more difficult then what you explained. I too was diagnosed when i was 16 and was very athletic. At the time i continued to play soccer but a few months later i started to get worse. By the end of the year i woke up in the morning, went to go stand up, and my legs collapsed underneath me, leading to me being unable to walk. Yes, you can " learn to deal with it". But when you can't walk anymore.. it is an " end-all" for your sporting life and more. congrats on not having it so bad though.
