Hello everyone
First and foremost I’d like to Thank God our Father and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for healing and delivering me. Many of you do not know but I had been sick over a course of 2 years the Drs could not figure out what was wrong with me but Glory be to God he carried me through all. I have been finally diagnoised with a disease called Myasthenia Gravis which the antibodiess in my body began to attack my muscles in my body which caused me to see double vision, not being ...Read the full article

Thank you for your beautiful testimony of faith, it was inspiring. I have yet to get into a neurologist, I can't get in until near OCTOBER! My Gynecologist suspects my symptoms reflect MG. I'd never heard of MG before, but learning more about it has helped me [not to panic] with my the severe generalized weakness.

I too, have relied greatly upon Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, his son and our Savior!

I have been and remain so, on this long journey of - discovery about myself - both physically and spiritually. Not being able to be the actively physical person I once was, often the [silver lining] to an extended illness is the [extra time] we are blessed with.

During my worst times, when no one seems to relate to what I am coping with, I have been buoyed up by re-reading the New Testament - with my computer and headphones. Doing so, has given me amazing [hope and the assurance] with the love the Lord has specifically for me too.

I hope the MG therapy works amazingly for YOU soon! I am praying that my diagnosis will come eventually. Even though I make myself useful, in new ways, I would so like to get at least some of my original life back too.

Warmly,
Sharon Ann

Hi Lashawn,
We do serve a miracle working God. I know that God will carry you through every trial you face. It becomes very lonely sometimes when you have MG. No one really understands what it feels like. It is invisible and yet it can be a great disability. Thank God you were so quickly diagnosed.

I was diagnosed thirty yrs ago when I was 13. I already had every symptom and doctors could not figure out what it was. They then decided to remove my tonsils and adenoids because I could not swallow I had nasal speech. I could not lift my arms or legs, chew properly, my eyes were drooping and it was difficult to hold my head in place. I ended up in hospital for three weeks with a collapsed lung and because I had asthma, they treated me for that. It was after this, that I was booked for a tonsillectomy. After the operation, I woke up and was up and about when suddenly, a had problems breathing. I was then rushed to the ICU where I was put onto a ventilator. After a few weeks they then did a tracheotomy to connect the ventilator in my windpipe. This was an extremely emotional time for myself and my family. There were times when my family were called to the hospital in the middle of night because they thought I would'nt make it. This went on for about three months. One day, my heart stopped, and they needed to resuscitate me. It was then that I had a supernatural out of body experience. I believe from then on I was very close to God. A few days after that happened, a doctor, that has not seen me before came to me and gave me an injection. He then asked me to lift my leg from the bed, which I did easily. I was then diagnosed with myasthenia gravis and a while later was taken off the ventilator. I believe God gave that doctor the wisdom and insight to discover what was wrong with me. I then had a thymectomy and was told that I needed to use the mestinon for the rest of my life. I stopped taking it on my own about 10yrs later. I have had a normal life for 20yrs without medication, and had no complications until about two years ago. I went through a lot of emotional stress, and I think that brought it on. I accepted Jesus in my life about 11yrs ago. I believe that He will heal me completely again. I don't have it as bad as I did before, and I don't have to take the medication all the time.

I thank God for neurologists and doctors who He has given the wisdom to help people with such complicated diseases. Most of all I am greatfull that I know the Great Physician, Jesus.

I pray that God will complete the good work that he has begun in you.
Love, your sister in Christ
