Re: Myasthenia GravisI know exactly what your going through. I was diagnosed at 18. I went into crisis, and was put on several medicines, mestinon, predisone, and had the plasma exchange. I went into remission, until recently. I am going through a flare up. I was having trouble with everything, stairs, cleaning house. All I could do was go to work and that was hard enough. My thymus isn't enlarged or anything and my doctors don't think I need it out. They tell me that it's 50-50 and not enough evidence to perfom such a major surgery. Which I can understand and I have also responded well to the medicine. I actually was just released from the hospital, they treated me with the plasma and IV steroids. I already feel better.
