Dad’s eye began drooping and he got double vision the day after christmas. Mom thought maybe he had a stroke in his eye, so she made him a doctors appointment for the next day. the doctor did lots of blood test and sent him for an MRI All of his test came back fine, but his vision was still double and the drooping had switched eyes, we still don’t know the reason for that. Hope your father gets better soon. I suffer with myasthenia gravis. I completely understand the struggle your family is experiencing with this unpredictable illness.I have been suffering with mg for 14 years. Being a mother of five kids and going from feeling fairly okay one day ,to in the ICU the next has been very hard for my family. My prayers are with all of you.

take care

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. My grandfather was just admitted to the ICU May 1, 2008 & is now on a ventillator. My family and I are still learning more about this weakening illness. Everyday is a new challenge. And the medications don't really seem to be helping with the strengthening of his eyelids. Its so heart-wrenching to see him go through this. But, we also have faith in our good Lord . He is a tough man and will over come this. I hope that your father overcomes this and gets his strength back soon.
