Myasthenia Gravis

Hi everyone I'm new to these forums so please forgive me if I make any mistakes. I would just like to know if any of you recognise the symptoms that I have as my optitions seems to think that I may have MG I have had generalised weaknesss for 10 years along with many other symptoms, problems swallowing, numbness, very blurred vision (now been told this is double vision with one image above the other not side by side?) photophobia, blisters, sinus tachycardia, IGA nephristis, spondilitis, positive rheumatoid factor, bladder not emptying fully ( I dont realise this is happening but scan by urologist picked it up) extremely painful abdominal pain with food passing through far to quickly (diagnosed by consultant gastroentrologist). All these things are intermittent apart from the weakness and blurred vision. Sorry to go on so long. I have been tested for several conditions including MS and Porphyria which were negative. I have just had a blood test for MG and I have an appointment with an opthalmic consultant but have no feedback yet.

I have MG and it started with the blurred vision, dizziness, freq. urinating, then led to muscle floppiness. My tests were negative, yet I had a positive tensilon test and I am now managing with mestinon and gravitin. The meds work. I get floppy along with the other symptoms and I take my meds and within three minutes --I feel fine again. I think MG is endocrine. Ask your doc for a trial of Mestinon.

thanks for the reply, your symptoms sound very much like my main symptoms. I will speak to my immunologist in December and will ask about other tests if my blood test comes back negative thanks again for your help/reply

my dad has mg, diag 3mo. he has double vision that is stacked(one objectover the other).
