Hi, Sorry to hear about your son. I just wanted to say, my Dr. has mentioned to me about hyper or hypo thyroid myopathy. How is your son's thyroid levels. Apparently if the thyroid is not functioning properly then muscles, heart and many other things can be affected. I have a low TSH of 0.10 and I am having some muscular problems now and heart palpitations. Dr is running some more tests. I will have to wait for the results. BTW I had my thyroid removed due to cancer and am taking a daily thyroid supplement. I am apparently not a the right dose for me and my muscles.
