Re: Overview, CT Scan, MRI Scan, PET Scan, EEG, EMGHello! Over the past several years I have had several neurological testing done...one of the being the audio evoked potentials. I recently had them done at a different hospital than I usually go to.
Normally at set up of the evp the technician tests for hearing of a "white noise" and when that is ready the other ear is sent "clicking" noises that is done for a while. This particular hospital, however did not set up any ''white noise" preceding directly to the "clicking" noise. My question is - does omitting the white noise make any difference to the accuracy of the test? Any response would be helpful, Thank you, Mixed Blessings
