Post a new topicby Rachel on Sat Nov 15, 2008 12:47 am

HI all,

I have epilepsy, and have never had a normal EEG except for the ambulatory EEG which was an overnight thing. Not enough time for me and he kept me on all my meds which was stupid becuase they were stil controlling it some. I have intractable epilepsy due to a car acident in dec of 02 I hit a tree head on aaand sufered a head injury adn whip lash among other broken bones.

I have TLE or Temporal Lobe Epilepsy

I have had 8 EEGs. The very first2 EEGs were sleep-deprived ones adn I had szs duringthe tests. Then I had then I was parked in an EMU for 9 days and had 2 szs and that Video EEG was abnoraml and I had a sleep-deprived EEG in there as well, and I had another Video EEG with another neurologist and had 5 szin 6 days and he had me doing another sleep-deprived EEG there as well. and 2 awake EEGs. I don't knopw IfI counted right. I can 't really do math.

I missed 16 day of work and college classes adn fell ay nehind and culdn't catch upp and thus was failed and couldn['t graudate from my colleg that semester.
