Hi I just moved to Texas and I live in a small town under 5 thousand people. there is no NF Dr's within 100 miles from me, The dr I have now dosn't seem he wants to work with me. I am in pain all of the time. He changed my pain med to something what dosn't work I was taking Lortabs before 10-500 what barely took a edge off of the pain, it just made it managable for me. he put me on oxicodone what doesn't work for me a bit I told him and he seems like i just want pain pills. I can't tell him how bad the pain is and have him listen to me. I need a Dr near austin tx or the Hill country, if anyone know of a dr please let me know. I tried my insurance and I get a run around, I also had my left leg amputated below the knee due to the NF Thanks so much'
