Hi, my name is charlene. My mother suffered a brain stem stroke 2 years ago which left her paralysed with only a little movement in her one arm. My dad, always a very fit man, went into a depression and has not been able to come out of it. He has been in hospital with pneumonia been on medicines for depression with no help and then slipped and had hip replacement about 1 year ago.
