I have been diagnosed with neuropathy a couple months ago. A couple of my fingers have gone numb my pinky and ring finger. Also have a lot of weakness in my arm with it. They said my ulner nerve and radial nerve and my median nerves have been damage. The Dr told me there was nothing he could do. I am going for a second opinion. Does this get worse if left alone with the numbness the Dr told me it was okay for it to stay numb But im worried about it and because of the weakness in my arm.

I was diagnosed with (peripheral) Neoropathy in July 2005. The doctors and specialist didnt really tell me, what lies ahead or what medicines and cures there are, if any.
It all started with numbness and tickeling sensations in my left hand and fingers. This now over 3 years have spread to my right hand and both legs from the thighs downwords, including my feet. I have lost all sensation in my feet and have constant pain 24/7 - also I have got hammer toes. There is no cure or treatment. I work with a doctor who try and help with supplements: B12(Cyanocobalamin) and B6, Omega3 capsules, Alpha Lipoic Acid and Arrow-Citalopram. These have definately slowed down the process and gave me a second chance. A long difficult road lies ahead. I wish you well.
