After a car accident I started having a headache. The next day I hurt so bad I truely never would have imagined. The softest touch and I would leave out a blood curdling scream. Sorry to hear your story......my name is james from dublin and i'm 40 y.o.
I too have the agonising experience of severe foot pain......sometimes they are freezing then burning,numb and then supersensitive. At night i almost cry and as a result i dont sleep well which has an effect on my life quality..I usually use tramadol with nurofen plus(codeine) but never get 100% relief. i have tried lyrica but i would strongly recommend against it unless you can handle severe cramps in your stomach and can handle tripping on heavy LSD,confusion and hallcinations.The list is almost endless.......Today however, i found something called hyperbaric oxygenation(HBOT) and took a free session(normally 100 euro's per hour) and immediately the pain subsided and went away. I was completely pain free for 1hour.When i left the treatment chamber the pain slowly started to come back. 6 hrs. later i am at home and am fairly comfortable but i do have some pain but nothing compared to normal. The shocks or shooting pains have stopped and for the most part i'm happy with the treatment but walking with no shoes on is still fairly sore.I'm going to have 10 sessions and start hopefully tomorrow.
