Neuropathy

I was told by my neuroligist that I have auto immune defiency neuropathy.I cant find any information about this.I did find Auto Immune diseases.The Dr has me taking Gabapentin and Noitriptylin.Everytime I go and see him he gives me higher dose of Noitriptylin.The Dr says that my neuropathy will go away in time.He says there is some IV thing that can be done but he wont do it cause he says there is a 1% chance that I could have a stroke or heart attack and he said that he is not the only neurolgist that wont do the IV Plus I dont want to do it.Does anyone know where I can find inforamtion about Auto Immune Defiency neuropathy
