Meniere's and other neurological symptoms

Post a new topicby jengar on Sat Oct 20, 2007 12:24 am

Last year I was diagnosed with Meniere's disease following testing for MS My MRI came back normal, yet I still have unexplained neurological symptoms, especially when I feel a Meniere's attack coming on. I have tingling sensations in my arms and legs. Sometimes a part of my brain will go numb and I will get burning sensations on my scalp. I cannot always feel my arms. I once thought I had my hands between my knees at rest and was surprised to find one on my knee and the other at my side. When I have an attack my neck gets stiff and I begin to have tremors in my hands and head. When I am having a Meniere's attack, I have much more trouble with positional low blood pressure. When I stand I black out. Once a had a paper in my hand and I could not see it but could hear it shaking. My son happpened to watch me catch myself on another occassion. I was conscious but had no vision or control. What he described to me sounded like a seizure My movement was involuntary and quite erratic. This happens on a monthly basis. I have only been witnessed the one time. I have even lost conciousness a couple of times. Are these symptoms consistent with Meniere's Disease or do I need to press to see another doctor to find out what is going on? My sister also has an inner ear issue. and she has reported tremors to me as well. She has not mentioned the convulsions.
