repetitive bendingmy job requires bending into large boxes waist high standing on one leg and grabbing packages and throwing them on a conveyor belt . this motion has caused swelling and great pain and a burning sensation it my hip areas front and back. most of the time i can hardly walk and the pain at night in unbearable. i have told my doctor and said i wanted to get an MRI done, and she said well all live with a little pain. some days i can't stand it and i want to know if its work related.
Re: repetitive bendingIf that was your doctor's reply, you seriously need to find a new doctor who will help you find what is causing your pain. I currently have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both hands, polyneuropathy, and degenerative disc disease and degenerative joint disease in neck, lower back and hips. Each of the specialists I have seen have put me through testing to rule out diseases and to find the cuase of my chronic pain. At this time, unfortunately, there is no reason found yet for the neuropathy, but it is such a relief to have diagnoses of other issues. Good luck--if you are truly in pain, no doctor should deny you the proper testing to find out what your issue is.
