Hi,
Do you have any problems with your hips? I have have severe osteroarthritis in mine which also causes me pain in the knee, thigh and groin. I cannot extend my right leg completely. My leg is kind of bent, as I cannot put full weight on it.
I also have RSD in both my legs and severe neuropathy. I am 50 years but feel like 80. I have to use a walker to get around, as I have lost all the muscles in my legs also.
This chronic pain is very annoying. I just wish it would all disappear.
Take care.

I am going to the ortho surgon on the 8th. My Drs. say it is probably in addition to peripherial ( spelling is wrong) it is Proximal neuropathy. This is a neuropathy that sometimes comes after the other. I am now having trouble standing and walking early in the morning and they changed my med to percocet. I can't sit for long times because when I do I can't walk and it causes severe pain in my thighs. I had to miss my mother-in-laws funeral because I could not sit in a plane for 4 hours. I will let everyone know how it goes. But look up the Proximal neuropathy and see the symtoms. The Drs. don't even know much about this. Thank you everyone that is interested. I will let you know how this goes because I'm sure it probably involves a lot of you. THANKS!!!!

Hi,
I know what you mean about not being able to sit or stand for long. I had to miss my niece's pinning ceremony from college, because she is 1 and 1/2 hours away from me and, I could not ride that far.
I have severe pain in my back and from my hips to the toes, due to RSD,, severe osteoarthritis and peripheral neuropathy.
I hope you make out ok at your drs. appt on the 8th; keep us informed.
I love this forum, we can help each other more than any Dr. I have found; they just don't seem to know what to do with us.
