My Doctor calls me his miracle patientHi, my name is Greg. I have had 5 shunt surgeries since april 1993. My doctor said I had nph but did not tell me what it could do because i have been diagnosed with several other problems as well. I have been through many different therapy programs to deal with the daily pain but no such luck yet. my experience has been interesting yet scary at times, but i know that if i can help someone like me i certainly feel a little bit better. my suggestion is to try and smile through the pain even though...Read the full article

Your positive attitude will go a long way in conquering your pain. I wish you the best in trying to find a resolution to it. I am 15 years post-shunt surgery and still have my original shunt. I do not have pain to deal with, just a few other things, such as fogginess in the mornings with difficulty walking. I admire you for continuing to go forward, despite your problems.
