januay 20, 2004 i was diagnosed with parkinson’s disease. since that time, i have experinced all classic examples of the disease. i went from.cane. to walker, to wheelchair. i had to resign my position with the state of nc. i was a correctional sgt. it hurt a great deal. i have not received the help, i need. not being able to walk, has hurt me. i have advdvaned conciderly since i was diagnosed.
