I sm 45 almost 46. what r the early signs to look for? I currently have RSD but for over a week now I have been having tremors and speech problems which very frustrating. I was in and out the hospital from feb - may 6 times partially from my rsd (my stomach) and partially from my blood preasure bottoming out. at least one neuro thins it is sinape (spelling is wrong). A few people in the rsd forum have - so i have dismising this to the rsd but now i a wondering!! I have a first cousin who has this dease. I also get a very sour taste in my mouth prior to the blood preasure and finally there are times that my memory is very bad, What tests do th e doctors perfom for this dease?

i was dx. parkinson's 9 yr ago. i had gone to a follow-up on another condition, but when the dr. saw me he sent me to neuro immediately because he noticed a tremor in rt. hand. this had been coming and going for a while. some tests were done at that time rigidity, eye twitch, and a few other general tests. they said it was probable, but my actual dx was not confirmed until i had an mri. at the time of dx they said it had probably had been progressing for about thirty yrs. i am a 59 yr old vietnam war veteran with exposure to agent orange. i have other problems, but am doing well with carbadopa/levadopa, a very good outlook and exercise.
you and all others are in my prayers. never give in. be the best you can be with what you have.
