GlutathioneHello, I am a 52 year old PD patient, diagnosed at 42.
Can you give me any info regarding glutathione treatment for PD? Has it been successful? How does one get the treatment? Thank you, rockemi
Re: GlutathioneThere is research underway for many compounds that may have antioxidant qualities, such s Glutathione. At present,to my knowledge, it is a supplement, not approved by the Food and Drug Administration, and therefor the lack of rigourous scientific studies may be an issue. You should certainly speak to your neurologist about using it before you contact any alternative medicine practioners.

Re: Re: GlutathioneHello,
I am new to this forum but I wanted to add my two cents about Glutathione. I am 41 yrs old and was dx 3 yrs ago. I have tremmors on both sides. I went to a Wellness hospital in Mexico last year and was introduced to Glutathione treatments with great results. This is not a cure. The treatments need to be continued every six months hopefully by someone local. Please email me at [moderator note: e-mail address has been removed] for more details.
Re: GlutathioneGoogle Dr David Perlmutter n Fla. i believe he has done the most work with Gl. I don' know that he can validate long ermm results. My Neuro says he is off hie rocker. but isnt that thepat answer for anything not FDA approved.
