Infidelity and other compulsions in Parkinson's

Post a new topicby Winston90 on Tue Aug 12, 2008 8:53 pm

Is infidelity and compulsive behavior common in Parkinson's patients? My husband has had an affair with a 44 year old woman (he is 77.) Is this a side effect of medication? He is on Requip and Cinamet.

I was taking parlodel and am now taking requip. With parlodel I had & now with requip I continue to have severe side effects in the form of uncontrolled sexual desires. I've tried to stop the medicine but can't function if I do. I'm caught between a rock & a hard place. This has been a very serious problem for me. It is my opinion that people do not wish to speak about it. I am not one of them. Anybody out there have any suggestions?
