I have not been diagnosed with Parkinson's but my doctor has not ruled out the possibility. This coming year I will be submitted to a lot of tests to try and find out exactly what the problem is. I have had muscular issues since I was about fourteen, so it's been over ten years now. It gets worse every year. My muscles are always so rigid, no matter what I'm doing and regardless of the fact that I am on muscle relaxers. I have tremors in my hands, jaw and legs. Sometimes I will be talking to someone, and a muscle or something (not really sure what it is, but it feels like a nerve) in my neck will sting with pain and pull down the side of my mouth. The right side of my body seems to be worse than the left. I have a two year old son, and there are so many times that I can't even play with him because it hurts too much. I have dropped him several times because when I try to hold him, the muscles in my right arm will go rigid and pains will shoot up my arm. I just feel so uncoordinated anymore. I'm always falling and running into things, even when I try not to. Even sitting is uncomfortable for me. It's so frustrating not knowing what's wrong or what to do about it. I have been on medication for about nine months now (Vicodin, Soma, Naprosyn) and while it distracts from the pain, it's not helping at all. It seems to just keep getting worse. I was wondering if anyone could give me an opinion on what it may be and if you have more questions about symptoms and such, please feel free to ask. I'm just curious if it's common for a 24 year old to have Parkinson's and if it's even possible for symptoms to occur as early as fourteen or fifteen. Anyone with any information, I would appreciate it so much if you could let me know what you think or know about this. My email is [moderator note: e-mail address has been removed] if you want to email me. Thank you for your time. -Kandy

P.S. Please put something about the topic in the subject line of any email so I know it's not Spam. Thank you.
