Relationship between SSS, WPW Syndrome and Parkinson's Disea

Post a new topicby christinarene78 on Mon Mar 16, 2009 3:38 pm

Hey! My name is Christina and I am a Nursing Student. I recently had a patient that had several disorders. They are Sick Sinus Syndrome (SSS), Parkinson's disease (PD), and Atrial Fibrillation (A-Fib). I noticed that her heart would beat to the movement of one arm that would jerk due to her Parkinson's disorder. My instructor has encouraged me to look for the relationships between them and I haven't been blessed with anything promising as of yet. I have found a disorder called Wolff-Parkinson's-White Syndrome (WPW Syndrome) and its similar relationship to her SSS and A-Fib Does anyone on here know anything about these disorders/diseases and their relationship with one another? I know what these disorders/diseases are and what causes them; I just can't find the relationship between the 3. HELP...Please!

Thank You!
