Re: showing signs?meg,
i am 59 yrs old and have parkinson's, myasthenia gravis, spinal cord injury, acute degenerative arthritis, gerd, rls. i was heavily exposed to agent orange in vietnam which could be contributory of some if not all of these conditions. i have never stressed over news of any of these "gifts" and as a result i lead a relatively normal life. i take a lot of meds and listen to the advice of my drs. the internet is a very useful tool. i have used it to research every med prescribed as far as side- effects and contraindications. if you do have parkinson's it is not the end. i am taking carbadopa/levadopa. it's been 9 yrs since dx. i still have very few and very mild symptoms. most of my friends and family don't even know i have parkinson's. good luck, hope you're doing well.
