Stiffness and numbness

Post a new topicby Guest on Tue Sep 13, 2005 5:32 pm

Dear all,

Are there any Parkinson patients who have experienced severe numbness and stiffness that moves up from the feet upwards along the legs or/ and from the hands upwards?? It's like a freezing sensation and it happens at rest and worsens during exercise. Sometimes I can barely drive. Is there anyone who has stopped driving for good?? I need to drive myself around. I can't continue relying on other people. Is there anything that you can suggest?? Sometimes i doubt whether I've been misdiagnosed. Aslo the mris and ct scans I took were normal.

I really appreciate anyone's reply.

Thank you

Are you on medication? See a neurologist for medication, but I tell you to research allot on your own. If you do not have Parkinson's, check for arthritis. The web has great info on everything, some times you have to search one word at a time until you get your answers.
