Living with RSD
I used to go to a round an indoor mall to walk 3 miles 3 to 5 times a week. On October 1st, 2008 there was water on the floor, I did not see it and I fell, I broke my right wrist (distal radius fracture). I had surgery on 10/9 and 2 pins were placed to realign and stabilize the wrist. My life is upside down I have osteoporosis and RSD I can not bend my wrist, I cannot move my fingeers, I live in pain, sweats and fatigue. Dear AdielaFI also have RSD and have had it since 2007 I WAS ALSO A VERY ACTIVE WIFE AND MOTHER OF of a grown son and a very beautiful daughterin law I WAS DREAMING of them telling me I was going to be a relatively young grandma I was 47 when after a four hour surgery for a broken tibia fibia and dislocated and broken ankle Icame out of surgery screeming in pain and finally being diagnosed witt\h this horrible disease.I two think of never having Quality of my its 320 in the morning and im hurting so your letter keeps my mind from being on the constant pain in my ankle foot which throbs and burns constantly Ive even tried to get my husband who is fiver yrs younger than me to divorce me because we never can relax for even a day because we have the city trying to get us to pay my 22000.00 dollar bill my meds are over 500.00 amonth .But you know what we have to keep fighting this monster because the lord has a plan for all of us .And we have this wonderful web site to vent our frustrations and who knows through this hideous disease maybe we can help each other because life is worth livingand you can email me anytime you have bad thoughts just remember theyre are others that have but dont actout giving this disease what it could make you not want to live.sincerelymercyinmemphis8
