Dealing WIth RSD - My SECRET!!Hi my name is Sarah. I am 15 years old and have had RSD for a little over a year. I Had a major ankle injury about a year ago. I had a class ankle sprain ( where you rip all the legiments in your ankle completely ) and then i sustained damage to the talus bone in my ankle from the sprain.

Re: Dealing WIth RSD - My SECRET!!My RSD started in the foot as well. My horse fell on me and smashed my foot. Unlike you, I get along with Neurotin fairly well, but my pain was still so extreme that even on a maximum dosage, I didn't see much of a future. Since July 2007, I have had 11 sympathetic nerve blocks under x-ray. While I still have pain, it is bearable, and my skin now looks and feels normal most of the time. I am able to ride and work, and I have a fairly optimistic look on life. Nothing is worse than hurting too much to enjoy what you love in life.
