I had bunion surgery in July '06 and got RSD. My foot Dr. sent me to a Pain Management Dr. I had 4 nerve blocks and took neurontin and pamelor..... It took awhile for the nerve blocks to kick in but I responded well. Today, I am no longer in pain, my foot just hurts and I can't walk like I use to. Also, I have had a lot of physical therapy and deep muscle massaging..... I would suggest you see a Pain Management Dr., they can help you with the pain and physical therapy is a must... I know exactly what you are going through and wish you the very best.... but please go see a Pain Management Dr., they know about RSD, most Drs. don't know what RSD is.... my foot Dr. knows about RSD and recognized right away what was going on. Early diagnosis is very important, while there is not a cure, there is hope to be pain free. Hope this helps!! God Bless You....
